Forich Electronic Ltd. was established in 1989.  Our main business is concentrated on Sales and  Marketing of Japanese Brand Semiconductor and Electronic Components in Hong Kong and China.

Our business

Forich Electronic Limited is an electronic component distributor in Hong Kong and China.  We are a HK based company with two branch offices in Shenzhen and Guangzhou of China.  The branch offices are locally registered companies and can do transaction in term of local currency with value-added-tax invoice (import tax on foreign product).

Our customers
  • HK and China electronic industry
  • HK: most of customers are electronic manufacturers in the field of audio, telecommunication and camera.  They are making OEM or CEM products for oversea markets.  They just have sales/buying offices in HK and R&D, production in China factories.
  • China: our customers come from different segments of the industry.  Most of them are making their own brand for the local market.

Employees
We have 17 staff in Hong Kong, 6 staff in Guangzhou and 9 staff in Shenzhen of China.  We have increased the number of staff by 100% since 1995 in order to expand our business.

Our policies and strategies
We continue to develop customized projects such as digital tuning radio, Car CD, cordless phone and AV amplifier to improve the profit margin.
  • Set up branch offices in China as distribution channels (2 branch offices)
  • Employ local salesmen to have more penetration into the market (13 local staffs)
  • Increase the number of suppliers to strengthen the product lines (from 4 suppliers in 1991 to 10 suppliers in 2000)
  • Set up engineering department to enforce the technical support to customers

Research and Development

Over the past five years, we have spent 2.5 million HK dollars on the R&D by our in-house engineers and outsource such as Panasonic System Design Center and Sanyo Design Center.  Technology is a significant component in our industry.
